In one of the most renowned and hardest international design competitions - the red dot
award: product design 2008 - our STAEDTLER Lumocolor twister emerged victorious.
The highly distinguished jury of experts awarded the “red dot” seal of quality for high design quality.

This year, a total of 3203 products from 51 nations were submitted to the experts for evaluation.
The crowning highlight of the competition is the award ceremony with more than 1000 distinguished guests to be held on 23 June 2008 at the Essen Opera House in Germany.

Today the red dot design award, with origins as far back as 1955, is one of the largest and most prestigious design competitions worldwide. In 2007, the competition received more than 7000 entries from 60 countries.
